Laura A. Young is a staff attorney in the Special Projects program at The Advocates for Human Rights. Laura’s work at The Advocates currently focuses on transitional justice in Africa, specifically how transitional processes interact with and impact diaspora groups as well as other marginalized communities.  Laura holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
